Meet Our Partnering Conception Experts

Hannes Streif
Family and Inheritance Law Expert

Hannes Streif graduated from the University of Fribourg/CH in 2007. He then worked for the Swiss Federal Administrative Court and a County Court. 

Since 2015 he has worked as an attorney-at-law and junior partner at a medium-sized commercial law firm in Baden/Switzerland practicing inheritance and family law. Hannes is also a donor-conceived person himself and has shared his story in Swiss national TV. 

Cori Dixon-Fyle
Psychology and Therapy Expert

Cori is a psychotherapist and the founder of Thriving Path, PLLC – a counseling and coaching practice based in Chicago providing international tele-sessions. Cori utilizes a strengths-based approach to assist individuals in gaining insight and creating positive, meaningful growth.

After earning a Bachelors of Science in Rehabilitation Psychology and a Masters of Social Work, Cori gained over 15 years of experience providing guidance and therapeutic services to individuals (infancy to elderly), couples, and families with a wide array of conditions such as relationship struggles and anxiety. Cori is also a certified trauma recovery coach, specializing in providing support to individuals navigating complex emotional, identity, and interpersonal dynamics related to unexpected DNA discoveries, domestic and international adoption, donor conception, or misattributed parentage.

Albert Frantz
Donor-Conceived Speaker and Activist

Albert Frantz is a donor-conceived American concert pianist and activist based in Vienna, Austria. He has won piano competitions, become a Fulbright Scholar, Bösendorfer Artist, and Ironman triathlete. 

He is among the most frequent contributors to the TEDx platform and, at TEDxSanFrancisco 2015, was the first donor-conceived person to speak out on identity as a human right. A documentary about his life and work was released in 2015. In October 2016, Albert was the cover story for Toastmaster Magazine in 142 countries. As a keynote speaker and activist, he has spoken in venues ranging from the World Congress on Family Law and Children’s Rights to the United Nations in Geneva.

Elizabeth B. Lozano
Conception Connection Founder and Psychology Expert

Liz, our founder, received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth (2013, 2015). She then worked for a year as a project coordinator, assisting with National Institutes of Health (NIH) research on adolescents’ social experiences and decision making. 

In 2021, she completed her PhD in Social/Personality Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she worked with R. Chris Fraley on attachment research. Since then, she has been a professor of Psychology and Sociology at California Northstate University, leading initiatives on diversity and inclusion, and mentoring a team of undergraduate students who conduct research on donor-conception with her. 

Liz is thrilled to work with and support donor-conceived people like herself, in  the hope of creating lasting change in this space.
