About Liz
Liz Lozano is the founder of Conception Connection. In 1990, Liz was conceived by an anonymous sperm donor in Boston, Massachusetts. From a young age Liz developed a deep sense of curiosity about herself and her donor. Over time, her curiosity grew, and before she knew it, this personal aspect of her life became the foundation of her professional career in academia.
Liz became a social scientist and has spent several years researching and publishing about attachment styles and donor-conception. Although rewarding, it was not enough. She wanted to create change and truly give to this community that she was a part of. That’s how Conception Connection was born!
She wanted to bring a sense of community to the donor-conceived so they didn’t have to feel alone. She believes in the power of Conception Connection – A space for the donor-conceived by the donor-conceived.
